Barbara Bohanon Bobbi was born and raised in
Fayetteville, North Carolina. She graduated from Pembroke State College
with a degree in Elementary Education and then went to Longwood College
where she received her Masters' Degree as a reading specialist. She
retired after teaching for 37 years in the Halifax County School System.
She is married to Archie Bohanon, a retired educator, and they
have a son and a daughter and four grandchildren. She is the vice
president of Delta Kappa Gamma, an honorary society for women educators.
Bobbi is an active member of Main Street United Methodist Church where
she plays bells in the handbell choir, a member of the United Methodist
Women Organization, and serves on various committees. Her hobbies
include reading, dancing, and spending time with family and friends. |
